Dennis R. Butterfield Apr. 21, 1946 - Nov. 14, 1983 PROVO - Dennis Ray Butterfield, 27, of Provo, died Monday, November 14, 1983 at the Utah Valley Hospital in Provo. He was born April 21, 1946 in Salt Lake City, a son of Owen and Forence Luker Butterfield. He married Dawn Seeley, in 1970 in Salt Lake City. they were later divorced. He was educated in the Salt Lake Schools and manged a Grand Central Store in Salt Lake City for some 3 years. He then served in the United States National Guard. He worked for the Denver and Rio Grande Railroad for six years and most recently has worked for the Handicapped Awareness Program. He was vary active in wheelchair Athletics. He was a member of the LDS Church and served as a teacher and Secretary in his Elders Quorum. Survived by one daughter, Amber Lynn Butterfield, Seattle, Washington; his mother and stepfather, Mr. and Mrs. Roger Critchlow, Provo; one brother Darrel Butterfield, Salt Lake City. Funeral services will be held Thursday 15 11:00 a.m. in the Edgemont 12th Ward Chapel at 350 East 2950 North in Provo. Friends may call at the Walker Mortuary in Provo, 85 East 300 South Wednesday evening 6-8 p.m. and Thursday at the Ward Chapel on hour prior to the services. Interment Midvale City Cemetery.
