Donna Lynn Gertsch
1945 - 1996

Donna Lynne Jackson Parker Gertsch, died in the early morning hours of April 19, 1996 due to an automobile accident.

Donna was born in Salt Lake City, Utah November 7, 1945, a daughter and special gift to Fred W. and Bonnie P. Batt Jackson, sister to oMichael Wayne Jackson. She married Richard G. Parker, later divorced. Married Keith K. Gertsch in Heber, Utah in 1984, later divorced. They were reunited and looked forward to a long and happy life together shared with family and friends. Donna and Keith looked for and found that special Happiness that comes from sharing life's trials.

A loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, sister and friend. Donna is survived by her children: Cindy Ollinghouse and her husband Tom, and son, Jason Parker, two grandchildren - her special Justin and Samantha Ollinghouse, Keith and his children: Sunny (John) Kohler, their children, Kim and blake, Stephanie Gertsch, a brother, Michael W. (Christine) Jackson, a nieve, Tiffany Jackson, two nephews, Samual Jackson and James Jackson and family, loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Preceded in death by her father and mother, aunts and uncles.

Raised in Salt Lake with family and many friends. Graduated from South High School, attended the University of Utah. She was always ready to go at a moments notice, lived a party and getting together with friends and family to talk and make all happy with her infactious chuckle and laugh. She was very tolerant towards others and their beliefs, and above all devoted to her children and grandchildren. Her's was a spirit ready for new adventures without becoming captive to habit. Donna worked in hospitals and as a successful realtor. Currently employed at Lucas Western. Her family and friends hearts long for the day when we can be with Donna again to be enfolded in the special love she freely gave.

A memorial celebration to remember her life and commit her spirit to her Father in Heaven will be held Thursday, April 25, 1996 at 11:30 a.m. Funeral service at 12:15 p.m. Memorial and service to be held at the Midway 2nd Ward, 200 South 250 East in Midway, Utah.
