Rodrick Carson Stinson
1946 - 2010

Our fun loving, extraordinary, remarkably devoted husband, father and grandfather, Rodrick (Rod) Carson Stinson, passed away April 1, 2010. He was preceded in death by his beautiful daughter, Stacy Lemon, mother of his two oldest grad daughters, Kaitlin and Hailee Lemon.

Rod is survived by his wife of 40 years, Wendy Dook Stinson; his son, David W. (Joan) Stinson, daughter, Hilary Stinson (Todd) Wood and son, Kyle Rod (Dana) Stinson, and ten grandchildren that he absolutely adored. Rod's family was his joy.

He loved us with a ferocity that only he could possess.

He had a passion for life, honesty, and sincerity. Everything he did, he did well. He had a strong work ethic and was employed by Premium Oil for 46+ years. He had many close friends and fond memories as a result of his career, and worked until he was no longer able. He enjoyed interacting with people and was a gifted salesman. He enjoyed junting and fishing with his sons, and loved to spend time in the mountains. Rod also loved cooking for others and was famous among friends and family members for his matty melts, lamb chops, steak and other dishes that brought smiles and comfort to the ones he loved. His warm smile, smart sense of humor, quick wit and huge heart will be missed by all who knew him. We know he is home with loved ones that went before him.

We love you, Grandpa.
